General information

Journal of African History, Politics, and Society (JAHPS) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal focused on modern and contemporary history of Africa. JAHPS accepts manuscripts of original articles and book reviews concerning a variety of topics and disciplines ranging from history, political science, anthropology to sociology and linguistic anthropology. The thematic range is broad as well, and it includes variety of topics such as nationalism, ethnicity, language policy, health and gender, international relations, culture and society as well as religious issues.

JAHPS is published twice a year and each volume consists of max. 5 articles and a number of reviews.  The journal will be using Open Journal System and the first issue will be released in April 2014.
